Italian midcentury modern design dining chirs “Kentucky” model designed by Carlo Scarpa and produced by Bernini from 1977. Natural walnut wood structure, leather seat and back, manufacturer’s brand on the rear tips. The Kentucky chair combines naturalness with the value of masterfully crafted leather; the visible stitching on the seat and backrest is a decorative element resulting from sophisticated tailoring. The seat and backrest are anchored to the frame with individual tensioned elastic straps, construction details that become highly decorative. The chair, which features a rearward-leaning seat, was designed to meet a variety of needs, both in terms of functionality and ergonomics. Production Italy 1970s
